Simple Civil Wedding in Virginia – Joseph and Brittany
People often wonder what needs to be done to have a simple civil wedding in Virginia. The answer? Not much at all! In fact you can have a full legal marriage with all your paperwork done and in hand within a time from of approximately 30 minutes (check out my article How to Elope in Virginia – Getting Married on Short Notice). Many couples however want a few photographs to document and remember their special day together, especially if it is only the two of them with no guests in attendance.
Joseph and Brittany were one of those couples. They met me at the park after getting their marriage license, and I performed a short civil wedding ceremony for just the two of them. Then we spent 20 minutes in and around the park taking some photographs to commemorate their special day together.
