Virginia Elopement Package: Married at a Mountain Overlook
Are you and your significant other looking to elope in Virginia with a scenic view but aren’t sure where to start? James and Jordan were too…and they texted me asking for help. After guiding them through how easy the process is to get married in Virginia, I recommended one of the more scenic overlooks close to Winchester…Bears Den in Bluemont, VA. This fantastic overlook faces to the west and is located only a mile (if that) from Route 7. The overlook is a very short walk from the parking lot (on a hiking trail so bring appropriate footwear until we get there), and is a fantastic spot to exchange your vows to get married.
I will add that the popular Appalachian Trail goes directly by this overlook, so sometimes it can be crowded with others taking in the spectacular view.
