A Small Wedding at the Local Winchester, VA Park
The local park in Winchester, Virginia (Jim Barnett Park) is one of my favorite locations to perform (and photograph) a quick marriage. Not only do you have plenty of scenic options to choose from for photographs, but it is only 5-7 minutes from the courthouse. This allows couples to easily get their marriage license, come to the park, and then return to the courthouse to pick up their certified completed marriage license. Brandon and Victoria did precisely that as they came from West Virginia to get married on a Friday afternoon. It was only the two of them and both of Victoria’s parents, who wished to be in attendance. I also loved the bride’s hat! What a lovely wedding accessory.
