Elope in Virginia: Married at a Local Park in Winchester, VA
The idea to get married sometimes occurs at the spur of the moment, and for a variety of reasons, a couple might not have a lot of time or money to put into a formal wedding. Alfred and Lindsey knew that they wanted something simple and just for the two of them. When Lindsey contacted me, I walked her through the easy process of what it takes to get married in Virginia (not much!), and provided my suggested list of locations.
Al and Lindsey chose one of the more popular spots in town, Jim Barnett Park. From its ease of access and lovely scenery to its low cost (FREE), it is a wonderful spot to hold an elopement. I met the two of them there on a summer evening in July, and watched them exchange person vows to one another. I also let them borrow on of my tripods for their iPhone, so they could record the ceremony and share it with family and friends at a later time.

“If I could rate Aaron 100 stars, I would. From the first time I contacted him, until receiving our pictures, the process could not be any easier and smooth. Not only are our pictures beautiful, but our elopement ceremony was absolutely perfect. He is very thorough, and communication was perfect- so we knew exactly what to expect and how to pull off our elopement in just two weeks. Aaron- THANK YOU. You’re awesome!” – Lindsey W.
