Elope and Get Married in Virginia at a Scenic Overlook
Eloping and getting married in Virginia does not mean you have to sit inside an office at the court and stand before a judge to exchange your vows. Quite the contrary, you can get married wherever you want, whenever you want, to make it a day for both of you to remember forever. Once you have your marriage license (read how to get one in Virginia), it’s only a matter of contacting me to find a date, time and location to perform your marriage ceremony (and take some photos too if you want).
Ken and Esther were planning a trip from Ocean City, MD to spend a few days in and around Virginia. They contacted me ahead of time telling me the dates of their trip and if I would be able to marry them somewhere and take a few nice photos. I helped guide them through the process of finding a location they would like to be married at (see my recommended spots here), gave them instructions on how to get their marriage license, and before you know it (time flies!) all three of us were at Bears Den for their marriage.
